ANDROMEDA'S TWISTED FRISBEE (ASYMMETRIC) SHAPE

Andromeda's
twisted frisbee
shape is harder to see
since the galaxy is so wrinkled
and upjumping in its arms. The basic
asymmetric shape seems along a 45 degree
axis through the center aimed to the upper
right, where the thinnest (horizontal)
disk component is to the lower
left from where a small
glow of heat from
the core is
seen as
a hot
bob
on the
thin upper
rim, and a major
bite out of the side
exposed the straited layered
underbelly, to the rear at the other
end of the 45 degree axis material in choatic
chatter in a rear arm seems to rise to its highest,
otherwise Andromeda is quite warped, the left end
is up, the right end is up, and the glowing
core bole sits in a cavity within a
deep depression in the middle.
A clown's round felt tammy
with a large bob in the
center can be easily
molded to model
this shape

COLLISION WITH TRIANGULUM

The
left side
underbelly striations
may have been caused by a sideswipe
glancing collision with the Triangulum galaxy
now departing our local group and heading toward the
Virgo Cluster. Evidence suggesting such a collision
is extensive, explored here
